Baccarat Banque

Baccarat Banque is different than Baccarat chemin de fer where the bank continues as long as the banker wins. Once the banker loses it passes to another player. In baccarat banque the position does not change as much. There are three decks of cards that are shuffled together (although two or four decks may be used) and the banker will retain his position until he has dealt all the cards or until he chooses to quit or else runs out of money.

At the beginning of the game the bank is auctioned off. This means that the bank goes to the player who is willing to risk the biggest amount of money. In some games the player that receives the bank first is the one that puts his name down first on the player list. This really depends on where you are playing so it is important to always be aware of the rules so you will know how to play the game so it works the best for you. In the case that you win the bank by placing your name on a list then you start the bank with the amount you want.

Once the banker has his place he will sit on the side of the oval table with the croupier in front of him. The basket for discarded cards is placed between the two. The punters sit around the banker and as many as 10 may be at the table. Other players who may want to play may stand around the table and will only play in the event that the seated players cannot cover through their bets the amount that is in the bank.

After the croupier has shuffled the cards then he will deal them to the players to his left and right. The banker always has the right to shuffle the cards last as well as the right to choose the person to cut the cards. After the punters have made their bets then the banker will deal three cards. He will deal a card to his left, one to the right, and then one to himself. He will then deal a second card to each of these players as well as a third in the same fashion. The punters on the right and the bystanders that might be playing will either win or lose based on the players that are deal on that side. The other punters will win or lose based on the cards to the right. The punters will continue to hold on to the cards on his side as long as he is winning. When he loses then the next hand will be dealt to the player that is after him in the rotation.

Any player may choose to “go bank” and claim to this belongs to the punter that is to the banker’s immediate right. The player on his left is next in line and then alternating in order. Should two players on opposite sides want to “go bank” at the same time then they half the shares.

When a player goes bank there are several options. One of them is to go bank on one hand. Or, the player may choose to go bank on two separate hands. This would put half the stake on each hand. A player that goes bank and loses may go bank again and if he loses again he may go bank a third and final time. There are no options to go bank after losing three times.

A player that wants to hold the bank will need to play an entire hand all the way through. After this, though, the player may choose to retire. Once retired he must say how much he will retire with. Then, the bank is order to any other player in the order of rotation that wants to continue with the same amount and continue dealing from the remainder of the deck. The banker that goes out will take the place of the player that took his place as banker.

The bank will continue with the banker even if it is broken should the banker desire to continue. That is as long as the banker has enough money to replenish the bank to the minimum that was agreed upon at the start of the game.

If the punters bet more money than what is in the bank then the banker will not be held responsible for the excess money in bets. If the banker loses then the croupier will pay the punters in order of the rotation they are sitting in. This payout extends as far as the money reaches. There is no claim if the funds are not deep enough to reach all punters. The banker may choose to put up the additional funds if he so chooses. In this case the bank will become unlimited and the banker will hold all bets that are made on future hands or else decide to give the bank up.

The rules that govern baccarat are quite complicated in some situations and quite simple in others. The rules of baccarat are not the same in all casinos so it is important to know what the rules are before you begin playing. Otherwise, you could make a bet you hadn’t planned on based on rules you were unaware of. Because of this it is always important to ask about the house rules regarding baccarat before you start playing. In these cases don’t rely on your memory or understanding of baccarat from where you are accustomed to playing. Instead, take the time to learn the rules for the new location or at least go over the most important ones and then you will have a better chance of playing well and winning big!
